Article I
Nature and scope of the service
Healthcare through the a.clinic platform takes the form of scheduled and extraordinary video consultations.
The general notice provided through the platform does not replace individual medical advice.
Electronic confirmation of the general pre-consultation notice is not automatically consent to a specific treatment.
Article II
Availability of doctors and follow-up consultations
The cooperating doctors set their availability individually and are not present every day.
At the initial video consultation you will be informed of the option to have a follow-up scheduled or extraordinary video consultation with another cooperating a.clinic doctor if your original treating doctor is unavailable.
This option depends on the current availability of appointments and is not a guarantee of continuous healthcare.
Article III
Limitations of telemedicine
The platform does not provide continuous or urgent healthcare.
An online examination has its own possibilities and limitations compared with an in-person clinical examination.
Based on the treating doctor's decision, additional diagnostic or in-person examinations may be needed.
If you need an in-person examination, you will be directed to an appropriate healthcare facility outside the platform.
Article IV
Prescription
Having a video consultation does not automatically guarantee an indication for pharmacological treatment or the issue of a prescription.
Article V
New problems, side effects and urgent conditions
If you have new health problems or side effects of treatment, or no suitable video consultation time is available, proceed as follows:
- a)if a suitable time is available in time, book an extraordinary video consultation;
- b)if no suitable time is available in time, get care in person: your general practitioner, a specialist, the out-of-hours medical service or a hospital emergency department;
- c)if you are in immediate danger, call 155 or 112.
An overview of where to turn is also on the page a.clinic/safety.
Article VI
Communication
a.clinic does not provide continuous or urgent healthcare and does not provide continuously monitored clinical communication by message.
